While looking for an easy origami pattern to learn this weekend, I found the Origami Owl pattern (see link above). I made a few and thought they would look better with wiggly eyes and maybe I could make them into magnets for fun! I've now made about 40 of these owls and everyone loves them!
Front and Back!
Now, I bet you want to know what S&S Products I used to make these friendly little birds:
You will need:
The instructions (see the PDF link at the top)
1 pack of TR253 10MM Wiggly Eyes pack of 100.
1 bottle of GL630 Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue
1 pack of GL578 Glue Dots roll of 200
1 pack AS610 Magnetic Buttons pack of 50
1 pack PE1261 Printed Origami Paper Assortment, 8x8" pack of 32
How I did this: After finishing the origami owl, I used one glue dot in the center of the owl - between the paper to hold it's shape together. I then used one glue dot under the face/beak to hold that down and in place. I then glued the wiggly eyes into place and let those dry before gluing the magnetic button into place.
